Athens, Greece, December 10, 2021. The Republic of the Marshall Islands Maritime Administrator commended the Master, Officers and Crew of M/T Aristofanis, managed by Capital Ship Management Corp. for the successful rescue of 153 persons on September 23, 2021 from a wooden vessel in distress, approximately 66 nautical miles SSW of Peloponnese in the south of Greece.
 
According to the Republic of the Marshall Islands Maritime Administrator letter signed by William R. Gallagher, Senior Deputy Commissioner of Maritime Affairs: "the rapid response and professional actions taken by Captain Daniel Dumitru and the Crew of M/T Aristofanis are in keeping with the finest traditions of the sea”.

Capital Ship Management Corp. to Secure ABS Decarbonization Notations for Current Newbuild Tankers

Athens, Greece, October 6, 2021. Capital Ship Management Corp. ('Capital') in an industry first, is to secure ABS notations recognizing investment in decarbonization technologies for its newbuild orders for medium range tankers.
 
ABS developed the notations with Capital’s input during their extensive program of new construction projects. The HVSC-Ready notation is for vessels equipped for High Voltage Shore Connection systems to be installed in the future, and the Wind-Assist Ready notation is for vessels equipped for wind-assist equipment to be installed on board.
 
The notations, which can be applied to any vessel type, were developed to support industry decarbonization efforts and recognize sustainability investments.

Athens, Greece, November 30, 2020. Capital Ship Management Corp. confirms that at around 21:12 UTC on 29 November 2020 its managed vessel 'Agisilaos' (IMO: 9315745) was involved in a security incident whilst the vessel was transiting the Gulf of Guinea off the coast of Lome, Togo. We can confirm that the vessel was boarded and four crew members were taken from the vessel against their will.

Capital Ship Management Corp. Takes Delivery of M/T ‘Aristofanis’

Athens, Greece, January 17, 2020. Capital Ship Management Corp. took successful delivery today of the newbuilding vessel M/T ‘Aristofanis’, a 115,000 dwt, eco-type crude oil tanker, built by Daehan Shipbuilding Co., Ltd, S.Korea. It is the second of two sister ships to be delivered in January 2020.
